XPath allows use of wildcards in combination with filters, and sometimes this is handy. Consider a document used to represent a set of boxes being prepared for shipping.
Suppose we want to obtain all of the dimensions (members of “size”) that are greater than a particular quantity. This can be accomplished like so:
